I hate Iron Maiden:shudders::: Actually if you went to the show and only had luke warm feelings for them you would walk away a fan. We all know how easy it is to sound good on an album or cd(in those days it was an album) but the real truth is in the live performance. First of all Halford is not only a great showman but he has a voice with a range so wide it shook the place. It was so impressive. The whole band was incredibly tight and in synch. Total pro's. Gimics? well it was pretty cool watching Halford ride a Harley on stage all dudded up in his fetish clothes,riding crop in hand,sun glasses on...pretty cool, and who could forget his highkicks during Turbo lover(this was before he outed himself but the guy totally threw it in your face in ways) Anyway,the whole thing rocked. I wanna see them again. I am sadly dissapointed to read this topic. Really for so many reasons,first off the poor child and last of all for the fans of Priest who will now have a tainted cloud on this bands memory.wish all the remaining the absolute best. A true rock band,through and through.

We are as shocked and stunned as everyone else by this news - however, we would like to point out that Scott Travis is Judas Priest's drummer and has been since 1989.
We have not see or heard from or had any contact with Dave Holland at all since we parted company with him over 15 years ago.

Darren,I have no idea if everyone in priest was gay and really it doenst matter to me,it's just that when Halford did finally out himself he did it in such a big way..grande marshall of the gay pride parade or something. No matter to me what a bands sexual orientation is. I dont choose my music based on any of that.

I don't really know if they were all gay but from what I hear re the gay community,and please anyone out there living an alt lifestyle,do not be offended..I hear generally they stick together,but that doesn't mean in all cases.
I had NO idea DLR was gay. REALLY???? I can remember purchasing the first VH album with his pic in it and thinking I just saw the face of God,LOL. He was so adored by females. Wouldn't be the first time. Look at Rock Hudson. hmmm

This whole thing reminds me of "Ripper"(haha)Owens whining about how he doesn't wish to take "sissy bands"(glam bands)on tour with him and Iced Earth. I'd think no one who was ever in Priest has a right to call someone "sissy" for any reason.
Typical Priest fan he is.
